We use two different types of Hog roasting machine. Both do the same job but in different ways. You can be sure though that whatever machine is in use, the end result will be the same..... fantastic!
A state of the art, free standing, LPG-powered meat spit roaster. Of German manufacture constructed in Bavaria - Home of Oom Pa Bands, Lederhosen, beautiful Steins of Beer and of course Pork. This baby is perfect for large scale events (the machine can be used safely indoors also) where you might want to show off a bit and make a central feature of your Roasting.
The cooking procedure is visible throughout the entire process. Two heat resistant glass panels afford protection from the elements and added safety. There is even a water filled 'drip tray' that sits below the cooking meat to ensure moisture retention - no dried out burnt offerings here!

A more conventional looking design constructed of steel and utilising a slow turning central mounted spit pole. Again the cooking is visible through a viewing panel at the top. Of course this little beastie will also cook Beef, Pork and other speciality meats. In truth the cooking does not need to be a central feature in its own right, the results are the same. There are other ways to spend a relaxing get together rather than watch your choice of meat do its thing. Anyway the Chefs could always dress up as Clowns with Red noses and entertain the kids! No? Probably right.

A Six Burner Free standing LPG Powered Barbeque powerful enough to cater for up to lots of People.
Also a Long Collapsible Type with the capacity to cater for the same amount of lots of people.
Using our Professional Catering equipment designed specifically to cater for large scale events, they can be used in conjunction with the Hog Roasters to provide a truly comprehensive Service.
EQUIPMENT HIRE
The Crackling Pig Ltd can supply all your equipment needs in order that you can host your own Event, be it a Hog/Meat spit roast or a Barbeque or both.
Dependant on your requirements the Machines can be delivered to you with suitable instructions regarding operation and health and safety. All ancillary equipment such as serving utensils, Knives, Tables etc is included in the Hire fee.
